About
Tracy brings compassion and warmth to therapy. She focuses on individuals and their innate value and worth while working from a competency based approach. She works collaboratively to explore the adaptive ways individuals have found to exist and live in the world. Within her perspective, it is imperative to find and use all of the resources that an individual has to engage with themselves and in the world.
Tracy is certified in the AIR Network Model of working with clients (click here for information) and trained in EMDR (click here for information). The AIR Network Model uses neurobiology, development and a competency based approach to assist individuals in finding compassionate ways to interact with themselves and in the world. This model is especially helpful when current patterns of thinking and interacting are getting in the way of engaging in life and relationships. It is a model that works very well for individuals who have experienced trauma, complex trauma and dissociation.
Tracy has experience working with children, adolescents, families, people involved with the justice system, church groups and individuals/families who have experienced trauma. She particularly enjoys working with individuals who’ve experienced trauma, therapists, individuals working through matters of spirituality and spiritual development. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies from Crown College and her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University. She also holds a Masters level certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior to working in the mental health field she was a full time pastor.
In her free time Tracy enjoys spending time with family and friends, being in nature, biking, hiking, reading, exploring, cooking and learning new things.
