Debbi earned her Master of Arts degree in Family Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1998. In addition to other educational opportunities, she has pursued advanced training and certification in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociation since 2011.
In therapy, Debbi enjoys integrating neurophysiology into her sessions, educating clients and applying this information to their care in layman’s terms. She collaborates with each client to both create and engage in their plan for healing. Furthermore, she makes a practice of incorporating the entire person: body, mind, soul and spirit in her work. Debbi has long-term experience with clients of various cultures, including U.S. citizens and immigrants/refugees. She works with clients aged 13 through the lifespan to develop an expanding ability to be present, whole and free.
